My guest on this episode is Tal Hebdon. Tal took her love of music and talent in performing arts and turned it into a thriving career behind the scenes, making sure audiences could see the artists they love everywhere from classic Toronto venues to the other side of the world in the Sydney Opera House. She speaks to us about a city where art is everywhere - and so is the conversation that it sparks. She questions the limit we put on individual artistic expression, arguing that whether we are delighted or offended by it, the healthy debate sparked by controversial art - be it music, dance or comedy - ultimately benefits us all. She lives in Toronto with her musician wife Rachel and their two children.
